is that possible?

get to know this info?

I mean, I have a file, what is base in a image of 25 mb,

few modificacion

few layers of texts,

a couple of thing

and the file gets to 500MB

not saying that photoshop is overusing my disk, but that0s strage

I have disable already compatibility mode, but that helps with a very little

o, I though , if I could see what takes places inside the file, will be great to understand how to make lighter files....

The following would be helpful:

* Document width/height in pixels, colour mode, bit-depth of the base image

* A cropped screenshot of the layers panel with all sets/sub-set folders expanded

* A cropped screenshot from  File menu > File Info > Raw Data

File size on disk is irrelevant as saved file formats may use compression. A 6000x6000px RGB/8 image would be 103M in Photoshop at a minimum, while the 10333x4724px CMYK/8 would be 186M. Before any layers or extra data is added.

Yes a screenshot image showing the layers panel with all folders expanded so that the forum can see what type of layer content is in the file.

It may depend on the layer content. Are there smart objects? It looks like you may have placed or copied/pasted some images into the base document as you have document ancestor metadata. This is generally only a problem when excessive, however, it may still be contributing to file size.
