Sky Replacement - Interior Photos Not Working

The sky replacement tool works fine for me when there is a clear sky/ground image (landscape), BUT if I have a interior photo with a window (and sky), Photoshop is having a tough time locating the sky portion in the photo. Is there a way to select a potion of a window so that the sky replacement feature will only impact that one area?

You could try Select > Sky and modify the selection with other selection tools.

Yes, I could do that, but then I'm back to Step 1 with a manual mask selection and then bypassing the sky replacement finctionality altogether. Attached is an example of what I'm facing when it comes to doing a Skt Replacement on an interior photo.
