I've done some searching and others seem to have a similar problem but unfortunately none of the supposed solutions have worked for me.
Here's an example; I open 4 png files, they open quickly, the crop tool is selected, it's takes 3-5 seconds for the crop tool to be available. I crop, save and close. Closing takes 1-2 seconds, then the tab swtiches to the next file, and again it's another 3-5 seconds before I can crop the file.
Just opening a few files and then trying to close them takes ages too, 3-5 seconds to close each file. It slows down my workflow so much
I'm also having the same problem with Illustrator.
I'm running PhotoShop on Windows 10, more details:

I've tried to find how to contact support but of course there's no simple way to contact Adobe!
