Windows 10 64 OS with all updates, local ssd

I am working with very simple psds

> hit Save As

> select jpg, file name and location

> hit save

> BANG 30-60 second delay for the jpeg save options dialog to appear

--- while waiting I see lots of things changing in the Properties panel off to the side

Why is this dialog taking so long to display in this release? Much slower than previous releases....

Is there anyway to completely avoid this dialog? I never change anything on it!

Hi Kevin,

Sorry to hear about the slow save process, could you please let us know the version of Photoshop you're working on?

Could you please try enabling "Legacy compositing" located in Photoshop's Preferences > Performance, then relaunch Photoshop and let us know if it helps?

Regards,
Sahil
