Hi
Thanks to all that took part in last weekend's desk lamp challenge.
This week I give you an empty bathroom, which I modelled in Blender 3D and textured in Adobe Substance Painter. I'll leave it up to you how you bring it to life, but do keep it decent, this is a family forum 🙂 .
The “rules”:
To download the image below at 3000 x 2400 pixels with an embedded ICC colour profile (sRGB), hover over the image and click on the circle with the arrows at the top right. Then, when the image opens in its own window, right click and choose “Save Image As/Save Target As” (or similar depending on your browser).
When posting back your image – please use the Blue reply button in this first post. If posting a comment on someone else’s entry then please use the grey reply button next to their image post.
Have fun!

The Saga of Percival House
First off, my sincere apologies to Dave for what I did to his beautiful, Victorian bathroom. I hope you can find it in your heart to forgive me .
Round about the mid 1700’s, Lord and Lady Percival owned a mansion on a rather grand property set in a beautiful, rural part of England. The couple were well loved by all, even the servants, who looked after them and their beautiful home with affection. It was with great sadness then, that the staff learned of a tragic accident that befell Lady Percival one evening as she was stepping out of the tub. Slipping on the linoleum floor, she fell backwards and hit her head on the edge of the tub. Lord Percival was so distraught by this calamity that he could no longer live in the place that was the scene of his beloved wife’s end. He let the staff go and turned the entire grounds over to a local estate manager. After an appropriate time, this estate manager decided it was time to spruce the place up and put it on the market. Percival House sold quite quickly given its fine condition and beautiful grounds, but the owner was back to the estate company rather early on, wanting to sell; and sell as quickly as possible. He claimed that the house was, well… haunted. He swore he had seen Lady Percival one night in the bathroom where she met her end. The estate manager scoffed and said the man must have been delusional, but took it back and immediately put the house on the market once again. A few weeks later, the estate sold to a young, newly married couple who had come into some money of late. The estate manager figured that would be the last he’d hear of Percival House for some time to come; but such was not the case. Within 6 months the couple showed up at his doorstep, quivering and in shaky voices exclaiming they wanted to sell as fast as they could. The reason? The place was haunted by a young woman who was often seen in the bathroom. This left the estate manager wondering if there were any sane people left in this world, so he packed a few things and decided to spend a week at the estate himself. After several days he was getting ready to leave for home again, thinking that he had just come upon two couples who were outliers and not sane like the rest of the world, and there was nothing wrong with the house. The night before he was to leave for home again, a bad thunderstorm came through the region so he decided to go to bed early in order to get an early start in the morning. As he was in the bathroom cleaning up, he felt a sudden cold wind blow over him and heard a kind of “moaning” then a woman giggling to herself. He looked around in horror, but could see nothing. At first. Then, he saw her. She was kind of floating by the mirror. She seemed benevolent enough, but she still wasn’t “real”, as the lower half of her body was… well… missing. That was enough for him! He left his belongings behind and ran screaming for home. He decided the place was best left as it was and that he would no longer put it on the market.
It is 100 years later now. The house has gone to ruin and the rooms filled with dust. Occasionally a wayward tourist will take to exploring the property, wondering why a seemingly beautiful house has been left to ruin. On the very odd occasion, someone will wander by at night and do a little exploring under the cover of darkness. Their explorations usually do not last very long, and end in a mad dash for their vehicle and a very hasty exit back to town. It would seem, that Lady Percival is a permanent resident now of Percival House.

Very nice, Glenn!
The NYT had an article not long ago about folks who are in quarantine with ghosts.
