I upgraded to Mac OS Mojave. Then PS 2020. Spinning beach ball of death ALL THE TIME. Uninstalled PS 2020 and went back to PS 2019. Same thing. Late 2013 iMac.

I have something similar: PS 2021 22.0.1 on iMac Pro 64GB. I open a JPG file; after 2 or 3 seconds, I get the spinning beachball for about 4 or 5 seconds. Then I can work but the beachball appears after certain operations like healing (large area) or going to the about dialog and closing it. It happens every time. I removed all plugins. I restarted. THe issue is always there. The issue is recent, I would say it started with PS 2021. I have no such issue with other apps like Luminar 4. I hope this is fixed. Yes, this is getting old! Thanks for any hint.
