Spot Healing brush causing dark line when used

When using the spot healing brush it keeps causing black lines but when I got to another tool they disappear?  Anyone have any ideas how to fix this?

Try resetting you Photoshop Tools, and make sure you have all the spot healing tool's tool option bar settings set the way the should be. If that fails to fix your issue try resetting your Photoshop Preferences.
