I usually work with undocked windows in my workspace, as well as being contractable by themselves, but when I open Photoshop they appear at the beginning and it makes it difficult for me to choose the file. Does anyone know how to remove them? at the time of entering photoshop.

Hi @Asael5E6D

Panels that are not docked will appear in front of the Welcome Screen. If you want undocked panels in a specific arrangement, you might try this:

  • Create a custom workspace with your panels arranged as you prefer (Window > Workspace > New)
  • Close the panels that are in your way when the Start Screen is open
  • Once the image is open, Reset your Custom Workspace (Window > Workspace > Reset).
You can also use the Workspace Switcher icon in the upper right of the screen, which is a little faster,
or assign a keyboard shortcut (Edit > Keyboard Shortcuts)

Other options include:

  • Use File > Open to open files
  • Open files from Adobe Bridge
  • Turn off the Start Screen in Preferences
