Text changes when printed

So after trying to establish my printer as the cause of the text issues when printing (using any font size or style) i have arrived at the firm conclusion that Photoshop is the cause.

My Text looks like it has a drop shadow, but its a line. Now i know what you are thinking, probably a setting, or an actual drop shadow, sorry guys.....no dice! tested the fonts in word and a couple other programs and it is fine when printed in them.

Which format and color mode is your image in?
