Text has a white box on transparent background

This is a problem I'm having since 21.0 (currently using 21.1)

When I create my text, on a transparent background, it is automatically filled with a white box. I haven't turned that on anywhere and can't seem to get rid of it. I even set fill to 0% and the box still appears.
( This only happenends when having a transparent background. )

I have attached both the preview (before the export) and the exported image.

In your Photoshop Preferences Type section is "Fill new type layer with placeholder text" checked?

It was turned on and I turned it off. I made a new project and I'm still experiencing this issue.
