Hi

I made a Text layer and it has now changed to a Pixel Layer so I cannot edit the text.

How does this happen and how do I change it back to a Text layer so I can edit?

Thank you

You can't change it back it's one way.

A text layer is changed to a rasterized type layer when you do any of the following

a. Right click in the layers panel and choose rasterize type

b. Use menu - Type > Raterize Type layer

c. Flatten layers

d. Merge Layers

e. Save in a format that does not support layers (which is now Save a Copy)
