Text seems stretched for an unknown reason

Whenever I make a text layer and insert any text it comes out stretched while I didn't adjust any setting whatsoever, although I might have missed something?

Please show a screenshot of your Character panel (Window menu) with an insertion point in your text (Type tool). Use the Insert Image button in a Reply window.

Nevermind, I already found the cause of this issue.

Change the Horizontal and Vertical Scales to 100%.
