Text Tool Crash

Hello. Since updating to Mac OS Catalina 10.15.6, Photoshop crashes whenever I try and use the text tool. A pop up comes up saying that it could "Not complete the request due to a program error." I've tried resetting my computer and validating all of my fonts in Font Book. Anyone know a fix? Thank you!
