The animated GIFs in 'save for web' preview is no longer playing in Photoshop 20.0.6

I'm using photoshop v20.0.6. Recently I found out the animations I make on photoshop can't be played on save for web window. (when you hit the play button, it doesn't show the animation) but I still can save the GIF file without a problem. However, I tested the preview on the former version (v19.1.9) and it started to play the animation but with hiccups. I’m not sure if it’s the problem with the latest update or something else.

Hi There,

That should not be happening, as it's not a typical Photoshop experience, let's make it right.
Could you please let us know the operating system you're using?

Also, please try resetting the preferences of Photoshop and let us know if it helps: https://helpx.adobe.com/photoshop/using/preferences.html

Note: Make sure that you back up all your custom presets, brushes and actions before restoring Photoshop's preferences. Migrate presets, actions, and settings

Regards,
Sahil
