Is »Show Image« checked? 

Is »Show Backdrop« unchecked? 

Does turning off »Use Graphics Processor« in the Performance Preferences (Photoshop > Preferences > Performance > Graphic Processor Settings) and restarting Photoshop have any bearing on the issue?

sorry, I didn't understand very well, what do you mean. 

When I try to apply the filter at the layer, PS doesn't show me the image of the layer but only the grey background and I can't work.

Unfortunately yesterday my pc died and I wasn't able to try to follow your instructions.
