Too sharp

The last time when I open a picture in Ps it looks much too sharp.

In RAW it looks good but when I go back to Ps it looks much too sharp.

I never had it before so I wonder what's wrong.

It's difficult to edit my pictures now.

Hi Jane,

when I open the picture on my p.c. it looks fine and so does the print.
It's only when I open in Ps that it looks terrible.

also at 100 percent it showes a terrible picture.
Because you see not so much of the picture it looks not so terrible but in
fact it is.

Can you go to Preferences > Camera Raw > Workflow and uncheck Output Sharpening.

 

If that does not resolve the issue, please show a screenshot of the Camera Raw view at 100% and the Photoshop view at 100% showing the same area of your image.
