Two issues with Photoshop 2020; smart objects being stretched on save & disk error when saving PSDs

I've had both the issues mentioned above. I updated to the lastest version on Tuesday, things worked for a day and today (Thursday) I get disk errors messages when saving and also smart objects in an artboard are being stretched when saved out. I can't get any work done!

I want to roll back PS 2019 which was stable, but I can not figure out how. In my CC app, I'm only given choices to install versions 20.x.x and newer.

Hi there,

We're sorry about the trouble with Photoshop. Would you mind telling us which operating system are you working on?

You can try toggling the option for Legacy Compositing ON/OFF from Photoshop by going to the Preferences, then Performance. Once done, quit and relaunch Photoshop to check if it helps. You can also try to reset the preferences of Photoshop using the steps mentioned here: https://adobe.ly/2Qzc0K3

Please backup your settings prior to resetting the preferences. You can check: https://adobe.ly/2vNz6FG

If you wish to roll back to version 2019, you can install the 20.0.x version through the Creative Cloud desktop app. Please uninstall the latest version from the Creative Cloud first and select the option to Keep preferences to preserve your preferences prior to installing the previous version.

Hope this helps!

Regards,

Nikunj
