unable to open images in Photoshop 2021

Just downloaded Adobe Photoshop 2021 over my prev. file Adobe Photoshop 2020. Now when I try and open any image I get a "could not complete your request because of a program error. I have restarted the computer and that doesn't solve the problem. Do I dump 2021 and then reload the program again or ????

Hi John, I just tryed to follow the link's suggestions but ... Anything is working to me. The only solution still same to be the deactivation of the GPU but it is pretty difficult to work without all the advanced possibility it gave me.

Isn't there any new solution or update available from Adobe??

You can downgrade to PS 2020 still using the Creative Cloud app.
