UNWANTED REFLECTIONS AGAIN! Photoshop 22.1 STILL THE SAME KNOWN ISSUES SINCE 20.1.9

The following image is just an example of how the wonderful developers at Adobe keep hiding under rocks when they come accross a known bug they can't fix. The unwanted reflections on 3D renders are yet again showing up when one tries to render a 3D object making the use and COST of photoshop just not seem worth it anymore.

3D in Photoshop has been broken for a long time and does not appear to be getting any development.  3D has always been an add on function to Photoshop and there are much better applications for it, even when it is working.

However you can get around the issue inside Photoshop by :

a. Ensuring the UVs are not scaled

or

b. Using Generate UVs (which is a different way of achieving a.)

Personally, I would (and have) move on and use a 3D application such as Blender for 3D work and keep Photohop for 2D work and compositing

I got around it by Generate UV's from the 3D menu. The settings required me to have the 3D object render using the Low Distortion in the Unwrapping Options section with Merge Materials and Preserve Appearance both selected in the material options section of the Generate UV's pop up box. This bug needs to be looked at by Adobe as it would appear an easy enough fix with a little code to auto generate UV's when the image is converted to a 3D object using the said settings. It's a pain to have to keep doing it manually
