Update Problem

Having a similar problem to others. Just had Ps updated and I can't open up any images I get "Could not complete your request .....................etc"  and I can't even exit Ps as I get the same message !!

Disable graphic processor from Preferences > Performance what will probably fix problem but limit options and some functionality.
