Update removes Photoshop, only gives me trial

The updated uninstalled my Photoshop CC2017 and is telling me I can either do the 7-day 2018 trial or buy it for full price.

How dare you, Adobe! I pay good money each month to use your product. I use this almost every day. I'm a loyal customer, and this is how you repay me? Fix this now.

Another thing you want to be mindful of is that if you are not ready to give up PSCC2017, choose the Advanced Options settings. You can uncheck "Remove Old versions." Then if you need to go back you always have that option.
