Using shadows as an adjustment layer?

Hey guys, quick question;

I have to edit hundreds of photo's where I just have to cut out a piece of the photo and add some adjustment layers and shadows.

Currently, I drag in the picture and then manually move the shadows from the prievious picture to the next one. Would it it be possible to add those shadows trough an adjustment layers instead, the same way I'm adding the levels and brightness/contrast? That way I could just leave it all in one place instead of dragging stuff around.

Thanks!
