Using the clone stamp on a 3d object

I can us a paint brush on a 3d object imported from Metashape but how do I use the clone stamp on a 3D object in Photoshop CC?

Just to clarify my question above. The clone stamp does work on some parts of the 3D model but not others. Particularly it doesn't work on what might be seams between UV areas.
