V22 line tool STILL broken?

How is it that the V22 line tool is STILL broken? Still can't change the width.

No, the hack to align to center and change the stroke width to behave as fill, then apply a stroke effect isn't a fix.

Adobe removed line weight you can not lay down pixel with the line tool of create line shape layers all you can do is stroke Line path. You are better off using the pen tool, or the brush tool,  or the rectangle shape tool then transform rotate rectangle shape.  The line tool is the tool to use to create Arrowheads shape layers.

Yes, but if you use line tool to annotate aerial photos (like I do) you used to be able to draw attractive arrows in one stroke.

In V22, the process is draw a line, change the alignment to center, change the stroke so it behaves as fill, clear the actual fill color, and then apply a stroke effect.

Exactly how are these thin V22 line segment arrows better than the former Line Tool? They look like Powerpoint arrows.  Ugh.

You can use old version of photoshop with your subscription.

After the 21 upgrade - you need to reapply the Stroke Options. I.e. select the solid line from the drop-down.
