Hello everyone. I'm having a problem with animating points of a vector mask on a layer over a video timeline.
This is my process:
I push the scrubber back to the first frame of the timeline.
I create a vector mask on a layer with a still image which is sitting in between a video layer and a layer containing some brush lines.
I de-link the vector mask from the layer.
I draw the vector maks on the first frame, using the pen tool set to PATH and clicking a few vector points.
I click the little diamond shape to activate the keyframe on the vector mask.
I nudge forward the timeline to frame 2 and move the vector points to where they need to be
i nudge again and do frame 3 etc etc
The problem is that when I go back on the timeline I find that the points on previous frames are no longer where the ought to be.
I have tried making it a smart layer, didnt help.
If I keyframe the entire vector masks' position as a single keyframe, it works fine.
Any ideas?
thanks very much, hugs and kisses
P
