Want to make 3d rotating pyramid

I was glad to see making the pyrmaid in photoshop was already ready in the mesh object menu. 

But now all I want to do is have it rotate and then save that as a video. 

Can someone tell me how to do this? 

I tired setting the camera keyframe at the different angles on the pyramid on the timeline but when I hit play it doesn't do anything.

Also I noticed if I just click on the playhead and move it through the timeline the camera will change position, 

but it will not change as I set it to... instead of rotating in on the canvass the camera will make the object go off

canvass and do what I didn't tell it to do.
