Warping done on cc2020 doesn't retain warp when opened in cc 2019?

Hi, Using the new warped tool in cc2020, I warped a smart object and it turned out well.  After saving the file, I opened the same file in cc2019 - when opened, the warped smart object is retained, but if I try to edit the contents of the smart object, the warping completely disappears.  Does that mean anything created on cc2020 (with transformations made on smart objects) is not going to retain in lower versions of Photoshop?

PS 2019 doesn't have the new quilt warp feature, so it will not support new files made with the new warp. This is common with other smart object features that previous PS versions don't have. So, yes, previous versions will not retain the warp done in 2020.
