Can we support WEBP already?

Becoming an industry-standard online, and commonly unable to work with images sourced from the net (part of my job). Would be great if we could fast track WEBP support for photoshop.

Cheers.

Hi

Have you tried the plug-in for WebP support in Photoshop?

2021, webp is now over 10 years old. And still no native support from neither Photoshop nor Lightroom. The program ACDSee supports that. How about Adobe would spare me the extra step of converting them after export from LR or have them one by one saved as webp?
