.webp was released 10 years ago.  It's not becoming a standard online it is a standard online.

That the primary software in digital art refuses to accomdate this file type is disturbing.

It's insulting to all of the subscribers and purchasers of Adobe products and is a slap in the face.

Being given links to "workarounds" for something that is so commonplace and is becoming the standard is ridiclous.

To make it worse, Photoshop 2020 would let you open a .webp file Photoshop 2021, nope.

Grow up Adobe, get this taken care of it's been 10 year.

I could, true. And that would be duitiful.

But why is that necessary? Should we presume that Adobe is completely unaware of the need for this?

Do they not have any awareness of the community they serve and the standards and practices of industries they work within and for?  Does Adobe staff not stay up to date on what is being talked about on their community boards? Why is another gateway to input on this, another sign-up, another step, required?  When you go there, they give you work-arounds to software downloads from third-parties.

So thanks for the link, I'm aware.
