Weird free transform performance

Yet another problem with the latest update. The free transform box either doesn't show up or shows 2 or 3 different boxes. C'mon Adobe. Stop messing with the things that work. First no JPEG save and now this? What are you thinking?

This is primarily a user Forum, so you are not really addressing Adobe here, even though some Adobe employees thankfully have been dropping by.

File > Save a Copy

Does turning off »Use Graphics Processor« in the Performance Preferences (Photoshop > Preferences > Performance > Graphic Processor Settings) and restarting Photoshop have any bearing on the issue?

Yes. But it seems so rediculous to have software designed in such a way that you have to turn off a feature, restart the program to get work done, then turn that feature back on and restart when you want to use other tools.

You might misunderstand what is going on, the issue is likely with tthe GPU driver and Adobe has obviously no control over that.

First, try disabling GPU in the preferences (Preformance tab). Any better?
If turning OFF GPU works, it's a GPU bug and you need to contact the manufacturer or find out if there's an updated driver for it.
