When ever I try to resize an image, Photshop freeze and crash !

Even if I want to resize a 1200 pixels to 600 pixels it may happen! But if I try to resize from 1200 to 1000 it wont crash . When down sizing from bigger file ( for example 4-5k pixels wide ) to small files it freezes for sure !

PS : I have enaugh memory and also free disk space ( at leaset 20-30GB )...

I have updated to Photoshop 2021 but the problem exists .

Meanwhile I have to use script-image procesor to do all of my resizing issues !

Hi, thanks for your reply,

I did below steps to reset :

  1. Press Ctrl-K (PC) or cmd-K (Mac).
  2. Click on "Reset Preferences on Quit" in the "General" tab and press OK to confirm.
  3. Press OK to close the Preferences window.
  4. Restart Photoshop.

The problem still exists !
