Nevertheless, it doesn't solve anything, as it was "Always Save" all the time.
The result I am after is to see a *.tiff file thumbnail as scaled down flattened RGB, without alpha, while in fact alpha is dcontained in the file along with layers optionally.

WHy do I need it? Well, tiff is more of a standard and is more universal than psd or psb. Problem in migration from psd to tif is that tif's transparency breaks thumbnails. Can't have the same thumbnails as with psd?
