Which Mac OS should I upgrade to??

Hello everyone!

Thank you in advance for any input you give me. It will be most appreciated!!

I have a late 2013 Mac Book Pro 15"/ 2.6GHz/ i7 /16GB/ ded. graphics

Im currently running High Sierra 10.13.6

I do need to update to a more recent OS but am very concerned as Im not sure which version would be the "safest" to upgrade to. Im not that knowledgeable regarding computers and I rely on mine heavily because of my photography business.

Any input you can give me as to which OS to install would be much appreciated. My main concern is being able to use Photoshop CC and Lightroom Classic CC seamlessly along with Topaz, NIK and other plug ins.

The latest OS you can get for your 2013 Macbook Pro is Catalina.

Photoshop and Lightroom should work without issue - but you'll have to check with Topaz, Nik/Google, etc for other compatibility (or cost for upgrades).
