White screen when retouching in Photoshop after update

Hi!

The screen in Photoshop 2018 and 2019 turns white when I use brushes, eraser and generally retouching after I updated to MacOS BigSur. Check out the video.

Does someone know what I can do to fix this? It's quite urgent, since I need Photoshop for work.

Hi @Juliane98C6 ,

According to Adobe, Photoshop 22.x and later have been tested with Big Sur.

Ps 2018 and 2019 have not been tested.

Here is a link from Adobe. https://helpx.adobe.com/photoshop/kb/photoshop-and-macos-big-sur.html

Are you able to update to a later version?

Regards

mj

This helped! Thank you so much!

But, a new problem just popped up. When I'm zooming in PS 2021, it's lagging and it's soooo slow.

Do you know why?

Hey @Juliane98C6 ,

If the answer helpd, can I ask you to mark it as correct? This helps others who might have the same problem.

On your lag issue, try this: https://helpx.adobe.com/photoshop/kb/troubleshoot-gpu-graphics-card.html

Let us know how it goes
