why do I randomly get this message as below.  also the white on the masks does not work

The message is not very informative it fails to state what the error was or where the  error is or what module encountered the error.  Its a poor message. The message seems to be involved in a saving process not in masking.  Do you also have some mashing problem,? If you do show screen captures of the masking problem.
