Hello, I'm editing some PSD files and in some cases Photoshop won't allow me to use Raw. I've managed to go on working over PNGs but still, I'd like to understand what's the matter.
Check the colour mode of the document you're working on.
Camera Raw filter is not available for CMYK documents. Make sure your document is in RGB.

Hi AmadÃs,
We're sorry to hear about this, could you please try reinstalling the camera raw plugin and let us know if it helps?

Sahil

What do you mean that Photoshop won't allow you to use raw? Do you mean you can't open raw files? Does Camera Raw not open?
Did you try to open your raw files in Camera Raw in Bridge?

I mean that when I try to use the filter from the menu bar, the Raw option appears in grey.

Just so we're clear - you're referring to the ACR filter in Photoshop, which is not the same thing as the ACR raw processor, a plugin module for Photoshop to open camera raw files.
Yes, they look the same, but there are functional differences in how they work.

Hey, I know that Camera Raw is not available in CMYK color mode, but is there any workaround to it without changing it to RGB?

I don't think there is any workaround since Camera Raw is RGB-only feature.
