Won't open images or close program

It was working fine. We lost power for a minute yesterday and my computer turned off. I got home last night and started it up. Photoshop won't open any of my images from my computer. I've checked the Cache and it's set to 4. It's using the computer's drive as it should. I even updated Windows 10 this morning. Nothing. I'm not a computer-savvy person and I can't seem to find the problem. Also, Photoshop won't close. "Could not complete your request because of a program error." Please send help. Thank you.
