Workspace Illustrator vs Photoshop

Hello! 
So I finally relized what's my biggest problem with photoshop comparing to illustrator. 
Is there any possibility in photoshop to have a workspace around artboard and see all of the objects around? In illustrator I can have all of my objects around the artboard and see all of it without any issues. In photoshop tho when I wanna move something from artboard it dissapears. 
So do u know maybe if there's a possibility in photoshop to change it or it's not in the programme?
