Workspace too big

I'm on a mac desktop.  Recently my workspace it too big so I cannnot see my trashcan or layer modes, etc because they are too low on the screen.  I have to use the "Full Screen with menu bar" in order to access this function.  Please help!

Thanks for reaching out. Which version of Photoshop and the operating system you're using?

Could you please try resetting the preferences of Photoshop and let us know if it helps?

Note: Make sure that you back up all your custom presets, brushes & actions before restoring Photoshop's preferences. Migrate presets, actions, and settings
