New Here ,

Is it possible to attach a logo or a photograph (JPG or Bitmap) on a PS file.

Will JPG needs to be converted into PS code for this ?

How ?

You can use most JPEG files directly as input to the DCTDecode filter, though you'll still need to read the JPEG to get width, height and colour space.

Hi Code Box

You cannot expect to find such a simply  answer to that question

In brief

Postscript has wonderful feature to merge forms on each page , without losing the speed of RIP or printer. - these forms contains graphics, logo , lines , victors , raster etc

You can design your own form through any graphic package like InDesign, Illustrator , Corel Draw , QX   etc

then export the form to PS or EPS ,, also you can export to image JPG   but the first format is better to keep the quality

Then use PS technical Reference guidelines to merge the forms with your data stream!

I think you can find great learning technique of merging forms @  one of the Maestro of PS Guru !

  1. Mr. John Deubart
  2. Acumentrauning.com

Some of The Journal he provide contains excellent teaching course in PS and Merging forms specifically ; however it is better of course to attend the course itself.

Cheers

Adam
