Hello, I am new to Prelude CS6.
What I will like to know is, if Prelude CS6 can edit a Video's Metadata without re-compressing the video.
Or is there any tool to do this. The Idea is to set or modify the Video's metadata without
re-compressing the video.
Thanks........

Hi G-Person,
Thanks for writing to us.
You can add/edit metadata of a media using the following steps:
1. Select a clip to which you want to add metadata.
2. Select Window > Metadata.
3. In the Metadata panel, enter the required information for the selected movie clip.
I hope it will help!
Thanks,
Swati

Thanks Swati, I also noticed that you can do that with Adobe Bridge, but still
there is a question, how do you know what kind of data to use?
Is there a guide that shows, for example mp3 files metadata fields?
Video Files, PDF files, you get my point, for example a MP3 may
have a field for what kind of music, however, I dont think you may
find that on a PDF file or Video File. Do you get what I mean?
Will be nice is there a guide about this..... Thanks

G-Person: Your follow-up question probably requires some research outside of Prelude. For example, for MP3 metadata fields: Mp3tag Help - Tag field mappings (??)

The question was because I gueess different files use different fields of information.
so I need to look an see those fields for different kind of files, or how this work.
