Is there a way to backup meta data from PreLude

I have had numerous instances where the program for no reason at all loses my meta data and there is no file for me to recover it from.  I have reached out to Adobe support and basically told me I was out of luck and they have no solution for stopping it from happening.  This wouldn't be an issue if the program would stop randomly deleting data I've entered however we don't have that luxary so I'm looking to see if anybody has found a work around for this problem. This is probably the 5th time this has happened to me so I'm at my wit's end with this program.
