I press on trim a video clip, choose 3 videos. The videos are added. As soon as I click on any button afterwards, the whole program freezes and never unfreezes again. I have to close it by force. What is going on?

Along with Steve's request, more background would help?

What version?  Is it a trial? Has it worked before?  What computer and operating system are you using?

I have solved it. I dont get it why nobody in the forums and in the whole internet came up with the most obvious solution to this (it took me a whole week to find out what the issue was). So the issue was simply that the framerate was too high. Premiere Elements only accepts a framerate up to 120 fps. Everything above makes the program crashed.

Exactly what we were considering, yyaux. But even Sherlock Holmes can't solve a mystery without a clue or two.

Nonetheless, glad you're up and running.
