I have Adobe Premiere Elements 2020. Whenever I am adding transitions it will freeze. The program will not save. It also won't close. The only way to fix it is to restart my PC. After that it will freeze up again after a few minutes.

What operating system are you running? If Windows, have you manually gone to the AMD, Intel or nVidia web site and ensured you have the latest driver for your graphics card rather than trusting Windows to provide it?
Finally, which processor do you have with how much RAM and how much free space on your hard drive?

Sherrie5CEA,
From the Help menu, select Online Support. It goes to a website where you can start an online chat with Adobe techs. They will trouble shoot your computer. (It is probably a video driver).
You can go to the same website with this link: https://helpx.adobe.com/support.html
There is a round icon with a box in it in the lower right corner. That is a shortcut for starting a chat.
