I have an old version of APE on my computer and want to edit some videos.  Can I work with iPhone 7 videos.  Error indicates Codec is missing.  Can I upload and install?

Bob's suggestion is probably the most effective. Otherwise -- well, it depends on the operating system you're using and you don't say what it is. But version 10 on Windows requires Quicktime to be installed.

Once you install Quicktime, which installs a batch of codecs, you can disable the file QuicktimePlayer.exe by renaming it QuicktimePlayer.old for security reasons.
