I've accidentally switched on Menu Themes before burning a video to a DVD. How can I switch it off again, please?

Try clicking on the "X".

Thanks, but how do I get to that view? When I select Adjustments from Edit, and Movie Menu from Tools, I see something different.

Ah, I've found it and turned it off. Thanks for your advice!

Unfortunately I now have another problem. When I select Export and Share, and then Disc, I get the error message, "The drive you have chosen is a CD/DVD drive. Please choose another location", which seems quite an odd thing to tell me. Clicking "OK" to that results in "Status: Invalid folder location".

Please try a different brand or type of disc.  DVD media comes in several formats; including DVD+R (recordable DVD), DVD-R, DVD+RW (re-writeable DVD), DVD-RW, DVD-RAM (random access memory) and DVD-ROM (read only memory).  I have not made a DVD for a long time, but I think I remember that DVD+R discs work the best.

Thanks, Bill. DVD+R discs are the ones I've been using but I've just tried a DVD+RW, with the same result. I wondered whether the problem had something to do with the three different camera formats I'd use to compile the video, but I've converted all the clips to MP4 or m4v using HD Video Convertor Factory Pro, run them through Handbrake to ensure the same frame rate, and then rendered the whole thing, to no avail. I don't know what else to try.

Two steps forward, one step back. I decided to try "Quick Export" and then to copy the resulting file to a DVD. The first part worked beautifully, but the second bit failed because the file's 10.0 MB too big for the disc!

After an extraordinary amount of time, sweat and swearing I've managed to create a working DVD, albeit one that breaks the video into four sections with a brief pause in between each section, which isn't what I had in mind. I had to use the Devices tab of Export & Share, rather than the Disc tab, and then burn the disk from the PC's Documents file. All very long-winded and bothersome!
