I now have a problem when I am listening to music in media player and when I open Adobe Premiere Elements 2020 the sound goes from a full sound to an empty sound. It sounds like it goes from stereo to mono. Sounds horrid. I cannot seem to find any setting that has caused this. As soon as I close out the adobe my music goes back to sounding awesome. What am I missing or what has changed or how do I reset Adobe Premiere Elements 2020?
Make sure Default Input in the Audio Hardware in the Preferences is set to No Input.

A horrid empty sound is going to be hard to figure out in a forum that relies on writing!
Are you saying that both Premiere Elements and Media Player are open and playing the same audio track? I've read your post three times and am not figuring out what you might be doing.

Can you help me set up exactly what you are doing so I can try to duplicate it on my machine?

I first play a file through media player. As it is playing and sounding great, I open Adobe Premiere Elements 2020 (as a music file is playing on media player) and the sound goes from sounding full and great to empty and hallow. This happens as I just open the Adobe program. As soon as I start the Adobe the music file goes away for a second and comes back empty and hollow. AS soon as I exit Adobe, the music stops for a sec and regains it's full sound.
