Can't open two projects at once in Premiere Elements 2018

I am no longer able to open two projects at once. When I try to open another project, it closes the original project. I used to be able to have multiple projects on Video Editor open at once. I was already talking to Support for over an hour this morning and they recommended that I reach out here. Please help.

I was never aware that could be done in Premiere Elements.

Hm interesting! A couple of weeks ago, I was able to split my project into two and drag the second half into a new project (2 projects open at once.) Ah well, I guess I will just keep it a one big video.
