Can we expect Premiere Elements 2022 any time soon?

I just built my new PC and I'm planning on buying PRE and I want to have the most recent version. ( old PC was running PRE2018 )

Since last years' release was in October; can we expect a new release within a couple of days?

But there definitely seems to be a pattern of releases at work...

Couple of days?  My guess is more like a couple of weeks.   

Google for "premiere elements version history" and it should take you to a Wikipedia article that suggests release dates in the last half of October to the first week of November.   Will it hold true this year?  Nobody knows.  

The other consistency is that the Elements package goes on sale with a significant discount during the early holiday sales.   Will it this year?  Nobody knows.

If you have pending projects, get started!  The current version has had a couple updates during the year.  Based on reading this forum, it is a very stable video editor for the vast majority of users.   As a mature software product, new features will be evolutionary, not revolutionary!

I just contacted Adobe tech support and they will refund my 2021 so I can get 2022!   Great!

Just downloaded Premiere Elements 2022 and it's up and running.  Just installing Photoshop Elements 2022 right now. Cool!
