Cannot import simple videos. It took one and added to Media but the rest )identical formats) receives the following message about HVEC and HVEF etc...seems that perhaps the Adobe and Windows is a low level compared to other programs and IOS?

Which version of the program are you using on what operating system?

The easy way to fix this is to find the settings in your phone where you can switch to "most compatible".   That changes the codec being used from H.265 to H.264.  File sizes will be a little larger but your computer will not need to work as hard.  Visual quality will be the same.  

There are other, more complicated, ways that should make the HEVC files work too.  

If you share a short clip here I would like to try it on my Windows 11 computer with a current version of Premiere Elements.
